Upstate New York photographers, Julie Gelfand and Steve Piper are an award winning husband/wife team of wedding photojournalists and personal documentarians from Rochester, NY. They photograph weddings and events in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Ohio, Rhode Island, the Fingerlakes, Buffalo, Syracuse, Ithaca, the Hudson Valley, Westchester, the Adirondacks, 1000 Islands, other locations throughout the US as well as destination weddings abroad. Documentary photography is where they began, so through the years of covering weddings, wedding photojournalism has always been their approach. Julie and Steve also may be commissioned for family and friend environmental portraits, and day-in-the-life photography. They will go to the location of your choosing to document a day of play, a gathering of friends, and loved ones, or a casual day at home.
